Here is my post for Melanie’s Share Your World.
How do you tell if someone has a sense of humour?
When they tell a hilarious off-colour joke which causes my coffee to spray out of my nose.
What sort of music do you prefer?
It depends on my mood. Anything pop through to symphonic rock and (lighter) heavy metal. Nothing rap, garage, hip hop or classical.
Thoughts on gravy or ‘sauce”? Yea or nay?
Well, they’re staples. Sometimes I even eat some food with my sauce.
Would you enjoy a hot air balloon ride?
I reckon it would great. I would love to do it. The views, the quiet…
But please no-one offer to take me on one, as it looks terrifying and we would crash and I would surely die.

By “lighter heavy metal” I’m thinking of stuff like Iron Maiden.

Yes, and the lyrics are very smart.
I too despise those massive guys who have nth smarter to sing about than chicks with big booties.
(I love Maiden too. I mean, the guy is a historian, he knows how to write a good song.)

Thank you Alistair for Sharing Your World. The ‘spit take’ is indeed a great indication that someone has a good sense of humor. Just keep a cloth handy for mopping up.. 😉 I take it then, that you’ve been the victim of ‘over saucing?” Would put a person right off their meal.. 😒 You are also with most responders to SYW this week, the hot air balloon disaster! Oh the humanity! Have a great week and keep the laughs coming. YOU’VE got an amazing sense of humor!!

I, too, like the idea of a balloon ride, but not the idea of actually taking one 😬 For. The. Same. Reasons. Like honestly, I’d be peeled to the bottom of the basket, like some feral animal.
