Sharing My World 2015 Week 45
Here’s my post for Cee’s Share Your World challenge. Some tricky questions this week!
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “fun”?
Oh no. Someone’s organising something “fun”. Will I have to participate? I want to go home, have tea and watch the telly. Maybe play some PS4. That’s what I’ll do.
I prefer “quietly enjoyable” to “fun”. Fun sounds like hard work.
What is your favourite time of day?
The morning, I suppose. I feel less tired in the morning (once I’ve got going). Though on a work day, the evening’s good!
Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want to have a evening with?
Ah, so many women, so little time :-). I really don’t know. Not someone I admire as an actor or whatever, as there’s the risk that I’ll be disappointed. It’s hard to know what these people are really like in real life. I’ll think I’ll have to pass on this evening.
Complete this sentence: Something that anyone can do that will guarantee my smile is…
… say something spontaneously funny (possibly rude and/or slightly inappropriate).

Fun does sound like work when you think about it doesn’t it. I never thought about it that way, but I agree. I love that “Ah so many women, so little time.” Hilarious, Ali. 😀 — Suzanne

I regard “fun” as something “people with energy” do 🙂

I agree about organized fun. That doesn’t really sound like fun at all.

Spontaneous fun is better. I can’t be bothered with the organised kind.

Us introverts have a hard time with the word fun. We think it has to be an activity with others. Being alone and doing our own thing many times is fun for us. Thanks for sharing.

I completely agree that taking part in organised fun can be hard work. You’d have to take part in all those silly games – probably make a fool of yourself. What fun is that, I ask? As for spending an evening with an actor or such like … oh boy. That could be totally disastrous – or humiliating, irritating, depressing – or even explosive! Best stick to the buddies you know. A pint down at the Local is much better than dinner at the Ritz – or even afternoon tea. 🙂

I was always an Xbox man, and was planning on buying the Xbox One. I would if I were buying a console today, but Microsoft made such a mess of the launch and confused so many people with their constant back-peddling they’re only now recovering from it over a year on 😦
